Each SFP28 port moves data at up to 25 gigabits per second, and you can combine the two ports through port trunking to reach an aggregated rate of 50 gigabits per second. This extra headroom shortens backup windows, accelerates large media transfers, and provides a fast link for synchronous replication between QNAP appliances.
The card fits into a PCIe 4.0 x8 slot yet remains fully compatible with PCIe 3.0 or 2.0 hardware, so you can upgrade new or existing systems without compatibility concerns.
