This specimen of Mercenaria permagna is an excellent find for collectors! It is estimated to be between 1 to 2 million years old and was discovered in a now-private mine in Florida. The specimen includes a matrix with smaller shells alongside a complete two-part shell. Notably, it features highly fluorescent yellow honey calcite and retains the cellular structures of living organisms, which contributes to its bioluminescence. This piece is incredibly rare and highly sought after!
